Happy 70th Birth Anniversary!

Our school had the honour of welcoming our Chief Dzongkhag Education Officer (DEO) and two esteemed Principals on an official visit as part of the School Performance Management System (SPMS).

Their visit provided an invaluable opportunity to review our school’s performance, share best practices, and discuss strategies for continued improvement in teaching and learning.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Chief DEO for her insightful talk, guidance, and motivational words that have deeply inspired our staff and students alike. Your encouragement reminds us of the importance of teamwork, dedication, and continuous growth in achieving excellence.

Ramjar Middle Secondary School joined the global community in observing Global Handwashing Day on the theme “Be a Handwashing Hero!” on 15th October 2025. The program aimed to raise awareness on the importance of proper hand hygiene in keeping ourselves and others healthy.

The event began with an inspiring speech by one of our Peer Helpers, who shared the significance of the day and reminded everyone that small actions like handwashing can make a big difference in preventing diseases.

A group of students along with the Health Coordinator, beautifully demonstrated the proper steps of handwashing, showing everyone how to clean their hands effectively. Our Principal also emphasized the need to make handwashing a daily habit, especially before meals and after using the toilet, to ensure a safe and healthy school environment.

Later, class teachers guided their respective classes to designated areas where students were once again demonstrated the correct steps of handwashing in a practical session. The activity was fun, educational, and reinforced the value of hygiene in our daily lives.

Ramjar Middle Secondary School is proud to announce that Karma Rigden Wangchuk represented our school at the Regional Sports Meet held at Tsenkharla Central School from 10th to 11th October 2025 as a Chess Player.
We are delighted to share that he emerged as the winner of the Chess Competition, showcasing exceptional strategic thinking, focus, and sportsmanship.

The School Wellbeing Team successfully conducted the School-Based Parenting Education and Awareness (SPEA) program on 7th October 2025, for the parents of our students.

The session aimed to strengthen the partnership between parents and the school in nurturing the holistic well-being of our children. The program covered a wide range of important topics such as:

- Mental Health Awareness
-Unhealthy Peer Relationships
- Social Media and Screen Dependency

Parents actively participated in the discussions, sharing their thoughts and experiences. The program helped parents gain valuable insights on supporting their children with care, understanding, and guidance in today’s fast-changing world.

Today, on October 8th, 2025, the science department organized a science exhibition for the junior section, based on a variety of topics aimed at enriching students’ knowledge and enhancing their learning.

During the exhibition, all the models and creations were crafted according to the students’ own ingenuity, providing them with hands-on experience.
