From Seed to Food – Learning Through Experience! 🌱

We sowed the maize seeds, cared for the plants, watched them grow, and now we are happily harvesting and enjoying the maize we grew! 🌽💚

The “Seed to Food Journey” is a wonderful hands-on learning experience for our little ones. Through this activity, children learn about where food comes from, patience, responsibility, nature, and the value of growing our own food. 🌱

Our cooking session made the learning even more exciting! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 Children developed fine motor skills, creativity, cooperation, confidence, and healthy eating habits while enjoying the food they helped prepare.

Learning is fun when little hands explore, little minds discover, and little hearts enjoy! 💕🌱🌽

Today, Baylling ECCD Centre officially closed for the summer vacation after successfully completing Parenting Session 8. We sincerely thank all the parents for your active participation, continuous support . We wish all our children and families a safe, happy, and enjoyable summer break. See you all after the vacation!

"Small steps in preparedness can make a big difference in emergencies."

Doing a mock drill on earthquake in ECCD helps children learn how to stay safe, remain calm, and respond quickly during real emergencies. It builds awareness, confidence, and preparedness while reducing fear and panic.

Activity:“Seed to Plant Journey”

Activity helps children understand how plants grow from seeds. They learn simple concepts like germination and what plants need, such as water, sunlight, and air. This builds early interest in nature and science.

Children develop observation and thinking skills as they watch their plants grow each day. They begin to notice changes, compare different seeds, and talk about what they see, which supports their learning and curiosity.
