International Peace Day

The school observed International Peace Day with a meaningful focus on promoting peace, harmony, kindness, and mutual respect among our students.

The day began with an inspiring peace talk during the morning assembly, encouraging students to reflect on the importance of maintaining peace within themselves, in the school, and in the wider community. The celebration continued towards the end of the day with essay writing, poster-making, and various other peace-related competitions, providing students with opportunities to express their thoughts and creativity on the values of peace and understanding.

National Earthquake Mock Drill

The school observed the National Earthquake Mock Drill today to create awareness and strengthen preparedness among our staff and students for unforeseen natural calamities.

The drill was conducted during the day with the participation of the entire school, allowing students and staff to practise safe evacuation, emergency response, and assembly procedures. A separate drill was also conducted at night for our boarder students, ensuring that they are equally prepared to respond calmly and safely in the event of an earthquake after school hours.

Inter Patrol Tsangmo Competition

The school recently held an exciting Inter-Patrol Tsangmo Competition, with two patrols competing last Friday and the remaining two patrols taking the stage on Monday morning. The competition provided our students with a wonderful opportunity to showcase their talent, confidence, teamwork, and appreciation for Bhutanese culture and tradition.

The school would like to extend it's sincere appreciation to the Cultural Committee for bringing forward this meaningful and engaging activity for our students. Such initiatives not only nurture students’ talents but also help keep our rich cultural heritage alive among the younger generation.

📚 Reading Week 📖

The school warmly marked the opening of Reading Week with staff and students gathering at the assembly ground and joining together in singing the Reading Song, setting an energetic and inspiring tone for the week ahead.

Adding greater meaning to the occasion, the School Principal delivered an inspiring book talk, encouraging students and staff to embrace reading not merely as an academic activity, but as a lifelong habit that opens doors to knowledge, imagination, reflection and personal growth.

Later in the day, the school welcomed all staff and students to the Library Exhibition, further enriching the Reading Week celebration. The exhibition will remain open throughout the week, providing everyone an opportunity to explore a wide range of books and pick a book of their choice to read simply for the pleasure of reading.

To make the exhibition even more engaging, the library has also organised an exciting quiz for visiting students and staff, with wonderful prizes up for grabs! 🎁📚

The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to Meji Sherig Lyonpo for graciously visiting our school today and taking the time to meet with our teachers and students.

Her Excellency's presence and words of encouragement have been a great source of inspiration to the entire school community. The visit has renewed our commitment to work with greater dedication, professionalism, and purpose towards the well-being, growth, and holistic development of our students.

We deeply appreciate the valuable time, encouragement, and motivation extended to our school. Such visits remind us of the importance of our collective responsibility in nurturing and empowering our young learners.
