Happy Social Foresty Day!
On 2 June each year, Bhutan observes Social Forestry Day together with the coronation day of the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Singye Wangchuck. The day is celebrated to honor His Majesty's contributions to environmental conservation and to encourage people to care for and protect nature. To mark the occasion, students planted fruit saplings and carried out weeding around previously planted saplings to help them grow well. These activities promote environmental awareness and encourage students to take responsibility for protecting the environment.
