The B.E in Mechanical Engineering programme was launched in 2019 at Jigme Namgyel Engineering College, marking an important milestone in engineering education at the college.

During the transformation of the College of Science and Technology in 2023, the programme was transferred from Jigme Namgyel Engineering College to the College of College Of Science And Technology. While this transition brought some changes and institutional adjustment to JNEC, the legacy of the programme and the contributions of its students and faculty remain significant.

We proudly congratulate the last cohort of BE in Mechanical Engineering at Jigme Namgyel Engineering College. Your journey represents dedication, resilience, and the lasting spirit of B.E in Mechanical engineering at JNEC.

Congratulations, Class of 2026, and best wishes for your future endeavors!

Students and staff paid great attention to the guest speaker as she shared her field experiences and insights. The session was engaging and informative, and both students and staff thoroughly enjoyed listening. It also helped students gain a better understanding of the opportunities available in the field of MEP.
