📚Reading Week 2026 📚
Theme: “Theme, Literary for People,Planet and Prosperity”.

Our school celebrated Reading Week with enthusiasm and creativity, encouraging students to develop a love for reading and lifelong learning.

Students from different classes showcased their talents through various categories in both English and Dzongkha, including Dzongkha Tshangmo, declamation, rhymes, and reading theatre. 🎭
These activities provided our students with opportunities to express themselves confidently, strengthen their language skills, nurture creativity, and appreciate the beauty of both languages.

The event was honoured by the presence of the Principals of Samtse HSS, Ugyentse PS, Kyidsa PS, and Khandothang PS, whose presence and support made the occasion even more meaningful.

Through every story, poem, performance, and spoken word, our students demonstrated that reading opens minds, builds confidence, inspires creativity, and helps us grow.

🕊️ Celebrating International Peace Day with Safety and Preparedness 🕊️

Our school celebrated International Peace Day with the meaningful message of promoting peace, kindness, unity, and harmony among all members of our school community.

The day was also marked with a Mock Drill to strengthen students’ and staff’s awareness, preparedness, and appropriate response during emergencies. Through practical participation, everyone learned the importance of staying calm, following safety procedures, and supporting one another in times of need.

Together, we continue to nurture a school environment where peace, safety, responsibility, and compassion go hand in hand. 🕊️

“Think critically, speak confidently, and value our language.” 🇧🇹

Inter-House Dzongkha Debate Competition was successfully conducted with the topic: “Dzongkha Language is More Important than English Language.

Beyond competition, the event encouraged our students to appreciate the importance of both Dzongkha and English while strengthening their ability to think critically and communicate effectively.

Congratulations to all the participating houses and students for their active participation and commendable efforts!

Our Intra-Class Taag Dang Nor Competition brought students together to showcase their talent, quick thinking, and love for our traditional game. Every match was filled with excitement, determination, and healthy competition.

Celebrating our culture, encouraging participation, and nurturing young talents through sports and indigenous games. 🇧🇹

July Monthly Test was successfully conducted, providing our students with an opportunity to assess their learning and progress.
The results were subsequently announced, recognizing the efforts and achievements of our students.

A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Dechen Wangmo, a former teacher who served in Bhutan and is currently residing in Australia, for her generous donation of books and other school supplies to the students of our school.
Her thoughtful contribution will inspire young minds, foster a love for reading and writing and support the learning journey of our students.
Though miles away, her continued care and dedication to the school community remain truly admirable. We deeply appreciate her kindness and wish her continued success and happiness.
