National Situational Update on COVID-19 (data as of 26th December 2020)

17 new cases detected since 6PM last night (25th December 2020).

Twelve are male and five are female, age range 10 to 62 years. Break down is as follows:

- One is a close contact detected in Dagana
- One is detected at a quarantine facility in Phuntsholing. He returned from India.
- Ten are a close contact detected in Paro
- Five are detected from mass testing in Thimphu

Meanwhile, 2 people are being declared recovered.

One more Bhutanese living abroad has been reported to be positive.

Its so frightening when i heard that stray dogs are attacking the sheep due to hunger. Its an alarming issue that they might attack other domestic animals as well as people in the vicinity.
Therefore, we are trying to feed the dogs here with limited resources we have from today.
Most of the dogs stay within the school campus so we wanted to feed them seeking help from the local residents and volunteers in the community.
