WEDNESDAY marked as NATURE WALK Day

A nature walk might sound simple, but it has powerful effects on both the body and mind for little ones. It help in boosting mental health of children.
Spending time in nature helps reduce stress, anxiety, and symptoms of depression. It gives brain a break from constant stimulation (phones, noise, work), helping little ones feel calmer and more refreshed. It also Improved Focus & Creativity.
Being in natural surroundings can improve concentration and spark creativity. It help in
Physical Health of young children.
Walking itself is great exercise. It supports heart health, improves circulation, strengthens muscles, and helps maintain a healthy weight.
Nature walk helps children in connecting with the nature as it help children feel more grounded and connected to the environment. This can increase feelings of gratitude and overall life satisfaction.

Our centre have marked TUESDAY as GREEN DAY.
Awared parents and children on importance of eating green vegetables and fruits everyday🥬🍏🥑🥭🫛🥒🥦🌽🥕🥝🍒🍇🥥🥔🍑🥛
The reasons are as follows

1. Rich in Nutrients 💪

Green vegetables and fruits contain many vitamins and minerals such as vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, iron, and calcium that help the body grow and stay strong.

2. Improves Digestion 🍽️

They are high in fiber, which helps the digestive system work properly and prevents problems like constipation.

3. Boosts Immunity 🛡️

Eating green foods helps strengthen the immune system so the body can fight diseases and infections.

4. Good for Eyes and Skin 👀✨

Many green vegetables help improve eyesight and keep the skin healthy because they contain important nutrients and antioxidants.

5. Maintains Healthy Weight ⚖️

Green fruits and vegetables are low in calories but filling, which helps people maintain a healthy weight.

Centre officially resumed for the year 2026

The day starts with welcome speech by Facilitators followed by Chief Dzongkhag Edication Officer and Principal Sir emphasised on importance of enrolling children in the centre.
CDEO and principal sir also elaborate on parents involvement and support in developing holistic development of every children.
Followed by cake cutting ceremony and CDEO awarded Tashi khadhar for all the children along with their parents.
