On 13th August, 2025 Literary Club members participated in an interactive News Writing Workshop, conducted by Ms. Thinley Wangmo, Lecturer in the Science and Humanities Department. Held in the evening, the session aimed to enhance students’ journalistic skills and prepare them to contribute engaging content for the College Newsletter.
The workshop emphasized the importance of well-structured newsletters in documenting college events and updates. Participants learned essential techniques for effective news writing, including structuring content, maintaining clarity, and engaging readers. We are pleased to share that thirteen members of the CST Literary Club had the honour of participating in Bhutan Echoes: Drukyul’s Literature Festival 2025, held in Thimphu from August 2nd to 4th.
In addition to attending thought-provoking panel discussions and literary sessions, our members also took part in a series of interactive workshops designed to enhance creative writing, critical thinking, and public engagement with literature.
The festival served as a powerful platform for young literary enthusiasts to connect with distinguished authors, scholars, and fellow readers.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the College of Science and Technology for their unwavering support and for facilitating this memorable learning experience beyond the classroom.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the organizers of Bhutan Echoes for hosting such a meaningful event, and for inspiring the next generation of Bhutanese writers and thinkers.

World Creativity and Innovation Day wrapped up with incredible energy and inspiring ideas! 💡A huge thank you 🙇♂️ to everyone who brought their passion, imagination, and brilliance to the table — together, we turned vision into impact! 🫶🏻
Happiness is often seen as a destination: getting our dream job, traveling the world, achieving goals, or earning validation. But what if we paused to recognize the 'small' joys that already exist?
The ability to breathe, to wake up to a new day, or to share a smile with a stranger. These are quiet victories we overlook. True emotional intelligence begins with gratitude for the present, not just longing for the future.
That’s why our club in collaboration with College Multi-media club asked people: *“What’s one good thing that happened to you today?”* Their answers—from “hoping to win semi-final ” to “My friend nominated for councillor “ “had a good laugh” “being able to be on time for the class” “completed class notes” ”coffee date in college cafe” reminded us that happiness isn’t always grand. It’s woven into ordinary moments, if we choose to notice.
