🏆 4th Year ICE Crowned Champions🏐
The curtain has closed on one of the most anticipated finals of the season, and it’s 4th Year ICE who walk away with the championship title in the Women’s Category and what a match it was!
Right from the whistle, 4 ICE came out strong, taking control early and securing both the first and second sets with sharp plays, quick rotations, and chemistry built over four years of shared deadlines and all-nighters.
But the Staff Team, composed and ever-strategic, wasn’t going down quietly. In true professor fashion, they adapted and answered back by claiming the third set — a masterclass in patience, teamwork, and silent comebacks.
With tension rising and momentum teetering, the fourth set was the real test. And it was 4th Year ICE who rose to the occasion, regaining their rhythm and pushing through with sheer grit to clinch the set and with it, the match.
This wasn’t just a game, it was a celebration of connection between mentors and mentees. The staff brought wisdom, poise, and pure heart to the court. The students brought fire, agility, and the determination of a graduating batch on a mission.
Congratulations to 4th Year ICE – true champions in every sense!
And hats off to the incredible Staff Team for being in every final and reminding us that learning never stops not in the classroom, and certainly not on the court.

🏆 2 WRE – THE 2025 SS VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONS! (MALE CATEGORY) 🏐
Well folks, the match is over, the court is silent, hearts are full, and if you weren’t there... well, let’s just say you missed the kind of drama even AutoCAD can’t sketch.
In what can only be described as a five-set engineering epic, 2 WRE has claimed the crown, but not before both teams pushed every physical, mental, and mathematical boundary imaginable.
🏗️ Set 1: 3 Civil came in strong — solid like a double-reinforced column. Calculations on point, gameplay symmetrical, and everything held up just like their designs. First set? Done. Smooth as concrete.
🌊 Set 2 & 3: But 2 WRE, those crafty water resource wizards, weren’t just here to participate. They adjusted pressure, diverted flow, and cracked through Civil’s foundation like a surprise seepage in a poorly compacted retaining wall. Two sets back-to-back — the tides were turning.
🧱 Set 4: 3 Civil patched things up, reinforced the weak points, and struck back. Set four? Claimed. This wasn’t a game anymore; this was structural warfare.
💥 Set 5: The Decider, and then… disaster struck. Somewhere in the tension, 2 WRE found a miscalculation in Civil’s load distribution, one tiny slip, one unchecked joint — and boom: seepage happened. In one side, we have the Staff Team - yes, actual lecturers, the very same minds who assign your marks, set your lab deadlines, and somehow always know when you've skipped class. Calm, composed, and carrying decades of wisdom, they are here to show that teamwork isn’t just taught, it’s lived. Lecturers, mentors, and legends in PowerPoint are ready to prove that classroom control translates beautifully to court control. These are the same professors who say, “Group projects build character,” and now they’re out here rotating like they are running a real Time lab demo. Their strategy? Slow and steady like grading assignments over four weeks. But make no mistake they have got coordination sharper than a well aligned syllabus.
On other side, 4th Year ICE - the students who have spent the last four years surviving sensors, simulations, and the occasional existential crisis - now brings their synchronized energy and last-minute hustle to the court. You might have seen them scrambling for viva answers now you will see them scramble for a perfect volleyball point. Their rotations? Faster than a student switching topics during a project presentation. With four years of teamwork behind them, these future engineers have learned how to stay in sync whether be it in labs, lectures, or now, during this important final match.
This isn’t just a game, it’s a generational clash, The ones who usually call the attendance are now calling the shots on court. The ones who used to take notes are now anticipating for the lead.

TOMORROW’S MATCH IS HOTTER THAN MIDNIGHT NOODLES AND LAST-MINUTE EXAM PREPARATION
The Grand Final of the male volleyball championship, where 3rd Year Civil Engineering (the seasoned structural squad) goes head-to-head with 2nd Year Water Resources Engineering (the flow masters of chaos).
This isn’t just a match, it’s a full-scale engineering experiment in velocity, pressure, and controlled demolition.
🏗️ 3 Civil are like well-designed bridges - solid, balanced, and impossible to shake. Their teamwork is like a perfect beam-column connection: firm, reliable, and built to last. Their spikes? Think of a carefully calculated load - fast, heavy, and guaranteed to collapse any weak defense. Watching them play feels like watching an AUTO CAD drawing come to life.
You can practically hear their strategies in AutoCAD. Their defense? Reinforced like M25 concrete. Their spikes? More aligned than a perfectly poured slab. These guys play like their final year project depends on it and honestly, it might.
🌊 2 WRE, on the other hand, are like rivers in flood season - fast, wild, and completely unpredictable. Their attacks can break through any formation like water seeping through a poorly compacted embankment. One second, they're calm, the next they’re a hydraulic jump. You never know when a sudden flow surge (surprise spike) is coming your way!
They break through like unexpected flash flooding in a poorly designed drainage system. No one knows what they’re doing next possibly not even them. but it works, and that’s terrifying.
This match is so unpredictable, even finite element analysis can’t model the outcome.
The tension? Higher than a cantilever beam under maximum load.
The stakes? Deeper than a well excavation during monsoon.
Oh, and don’t worry this final match will feature:
• Headshots (impact testing)
• Body dives (human crash tests)
• Blocked spikes (call it a sudden "shear failure")
• And probably one or two players getting hit so hard it qualifies as a “dynamic load case”

3 Civil Marches Into the Finals!
What a clash it was! ⚡ In a match packed with intensity and adrenaline, 3 Civil has officially booked their spot in the finals securing a 3-1 set victory over a fierce 2 ECE side!
The game kicked off with 2 ECE bringing the fire early on. With elite players Kelzang and Tashi leading the charge, their solid blocks and sharp attacks gave them the edge in the opening sets. It looked like they might seize control, nearly taking the first two sets.
But momentum is a tricky thing and 3 Civil wasn’t ready to back down. Fueled by sheer determination, tactical discipline, and a never-give-up attitude, they roared back into the game. With every rally, they chipped away at the pressure, flipping the script and dominating the final sets.
The journey continues for 3 Civil — straight to the grand finale!

2 WRE returns to the semi-finals for the second consecutive year, riding high on their relentless team spirit and unshakable synergy. Their journey to last season’s final proved that unity and heart can move mountains and there is no doubt they are eyeing the final once again with fierce determination.
On the other side of the net, Staff 2 brings experience and composure to the court. With seasoned athletes and one name that stands out Sonam Gyeltsen(DCC). A cornerstone of the college volleyball team for four straight years, Sonam’s leadership and killer instincts could be the x-factor. Will he rise once again and lead Staff 2 to glory?

THE TITANS RETURN: STAFF STORM INTO SS VOLLEYBALL FINALS 2025
In a thunderous clash of willpower and skill, the legendary STAFF team once towering giants who dominated every tournament they touched have risen once more, charging into the Finals of the SS Volleyball Tournament 2025 (Women’s Category) like a force of nature!
With fire in their veins and thunder in their spikes, STAFF bulldozed past 1 ECE/ICE with a blazing 3-0 victory! Set after set, despite fierce resistance from 1 ECE/ICE, the pressure proved too much their defense cracked, their rhythm faltered, and the STAFF machine rolled on unstoppable.
They didn’t just win. They made a statement.
But the war isn’t over yet...
Next up: 4ICE, a squad as cold as ice and just as deadly ❄️. Armed with elite players like Dorji Yuden and Tshering Om, these warriors aren’t stepping onto that final court to participate they are coming to dominate.
