Today, I felt deeply emotional and truly blessed to welcome my respected teachers, advisor, friends, motivators, and colleagues from (Sangzab Rigzhung Lobdra) the Dzongkha Lectures from Paro college of Education Their visit to Taktsang Academy meant so much to me personally and professionally.
They came with warm wishes, heartfelt prayers, and blessings for our staff and students to grow as responsible and good future citizens. The meaningful gathering at TASHI Delek Cake and the beautiful blessing gifts of Their Majesties The King and Queen with the Princesses touched my heart deeply. Their Majesties will always remain in my heart as my inspiration and guiding light to do good in life.

Today marks a proud and historic moment for Taktsang Academy as we join nine other schools in the launch of the PILOT SCHOOL FILM LITERACY PROJECT by Samuh Media Tech Private Limited in Thimphu.
It is a great opportunity for our school community to work together in promoting creativity, storytelling, media literacy, and awareness of the film industry among students.

We are deeply honored to witness this important program launched in the presence of the Dasho Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, the Ambassador of Australia, the Director of BIMA, officials from MoESD, and representatives from participating schools.

I am also proud that our two school counselors are representing Taktsang Academy in this meaningful initiative. This project will open new learning experiences and inspire our students to explore creative skills and future opportunities in the film and media industry.

Taktsang Academy is conducting the April Monthly Test in a well-organized manner. The assessment is designed like a unit test, carrying 25 marks for each subject. Students are seated in a mixed arrangement, and each student is identified using their personal index number. The examination is supervised with proper invigilation, with one invigilator assigned to each room

Objectives for the Monthly Test at Taktsang Academy:

1. To familiarize students with examination rules and regulations
Help students understand proper exam conduct, discipline, and the importance of following instructions during assessments.
2. To reinforce subject revision
Provide an opportunity for students to revise key concepts and topics covered in all subjects.
3. To assess students’ understanding of chapters taught
Evaluate how well students have grasped the lessons and identify areas that need improvement.
4. To build confidence for future examinations
Prepare students mentally and academically for larger exams by giving them real test experience.
5. To promote effective exam preparation skills
Educate students on how to study, manage time, and approach questions strategically.
6. To ensure fair and transparent assessment practices
Through mixed seating arrangements and proper invigilation, maintain integrity and fairness in the examination process.
7. To develop discipline and responsibility among students
Encourage punctuality, honesty, and independent work during exams.
8. To provide feedback for academic improvement
Help teachers and students identify strengths and weaknesses for better learning outcomes.
