Today, our school proudly observed the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲 under the global theme "𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝."

The day was marked with various fun-filled and engaging activities that encouraged students to experience the joy of play while learning valuable life skills. Through games, sports, and recreational activities, our students developed teamwork, cooperation, creativity, confidence, and physical fitness.

Play is an essential part of a child's growth and development. It promotes physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being while creating opportunities for friendship, inclusion, and happiness.

As we celebrate this special day, we reaffirm our commitment to providing a nurturing environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive through play.

Today, we celebrate the birthday of Jigme Yonten Khunjung of Class II A, who chose to make his special day even more meaningful by sharing pencils and erasers with his classmates.
Instead of the usual sweets and cakes, Jigme demonstrated the true spirit of kindness, generosity, and sharing. His thoughtful gesture brought smiles to his friends and serves as a wonderful example for everyone.

On his birthday, 𝐉𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐲 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐳𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐢𝐧 of 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝟖𝐀 made a meaningful contribution to our school by donating 𝟏𝟓 𝐛𝐚𝐠𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝟓𝟎 𝐤𝐠 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡).

This generous donation will greatly support the school's ongoing maintenance and infrastructure improvement works. The cement will be used to repair and enhance school facilities, helping to create a safer, cleaner, and more conducive learning environment for both students and staff.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Jigmey Kinzang Tenzin and his parents for this thoughtful gesture. Their generosity and support for education are truly commendable and serve as an inspiration to the entire school community.

We are delighted to warmly welcome our scouts, 𝐘𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐏𝐞𝐦 and 𝐊𝐞𝐳𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐝𝐚, back to school after their successful participation in the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐞 held in Paro.

During the assembly, they shared their enriching experiences and memorable moments from the jamboree. They spoke about the various activities, teamwork, leadership skills, friendships, and valuable lessons they gained throughout the event. Their inspiring sharing provided fellow students with a glimpse of the exciting opportunities and personal growth that scouting offers.

On 2nd June 2026, our school proudly observed Social Forestry Day and the Coronation Day of the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, a day of immense national significance and gratitude.
The program commenced with a speech highlighting the importance of plant conservation and environmental stewardship. Students and staff reflected on the vital role that trees play in sustaining life, protecting biodiversity, and ensuring a greener future for generations to come.
To mark the occasion, numerous saplings were planted in and around the school premises. The activity symbolized our commitment to environmental conservation and served as a tribute to the enduring environmental legacy of our beloved Kings.
The School Captains, teachers, and all staff members actively participated in the plantation program, demonstrating collective responsibility towards protecting nature.
As we celebrate this meaningful day, we express our heartfelt gratitude to His Majesty and reaffirm our pledge to conserve our natural environment. Together, let us continue to nurture and protect our precious natural heritage for a brighter and more sustainable future.

In observance of World No To***co Day, our school conducted an awareness program on 31st May 2026 with the aim of educating students about the harmful effects of to***co, ni****ne, and substance abuse. The program emphasized the importance of making healthy lifestyle choices and developing responsible attitudes towards personal well-being.
During the session, students were informed about the physical, mental, social, and academic consequences of to***co use, smoking, va**ng, alcohol consumption, and other drug-related addictions. Awareness messages, informative talks, and interactive discussions were organized to help students understand how substance abuse can negatively impact their future, relationships, and overall quality of life.
The program also encouraged students to resist peer pressure, build self-confidence, and make positive decisions that contribute to a healthy and productive future. Students actively participated in the discussions and reflected on the importance of maintaining a to***co-free lifestyle.
The slogan "Choose Health Over To***co and Ni****ne" effectively conveyed the message of the day and reinforced the importance of protecting one's health from harmful substances.
As a school community, we remain committed to promoting healthy habits and creating awareness among our students. Living without to***co leads to a healthier, happier, and more successful life. Let us all work together to encourage a smoke-free and drug-free society.
