We are pleased to share that the Local Area Network (LAN) installation in our ICT Lab and classrooms has been successfully completed.
With this new wired network connection, our ICT lessons will run more smoothly with faster and more reliable internet access. Previously, we faced frequent connectivity issues due to Wi-Fi connections to desktop computers. Now, all desktops and interactive boards are connected directly through LAN, ensuring stable and high-speed internet throughout the school.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to:
The Dzongkhag Administration, Mongar
The Dzongkhag Education Office, Mongar
The dedicated officials from the ICT Section, Mongar
These officials worked tirelessly day and night, often from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, to complete the installation within a short period of time.
Their commitment and hard work demonstrate that every stakeholder plays an important role in uplifting school and enhancing the quality of education for our students.
Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication to Zunglen Primary School.

Traditional beliefs help protect trees and honor local deities. These beliefs have been passed down from generation to generation. Students should be given opportunities to learn about and practice these traditions so that they continue to preserve our environment and cultural heritage.

For the very first time, our School Captain gracefully took the honor of offering Marchang during the Teacher’s Day celebration — a proud and heartwarming moment for the entire school community. This beautiful gesture clearly shows that when students are entrusted with responsibility and given the right opportunity, they are capable of performing beyond expectations.
Heartiest congratulations to Mr. Sonam Tshering of Class VI for confidently and respectfully offering the Marchang and making the occasion even more meaningful and memorable. Your courage, leadership, and poise have made us all proud.

Teacher’s Day was joyfully celebrated with parents and students coinciding with the birth anniversary of our beloved Late His Majesty the Third Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.
The active participation of parents from Atola, Makeybee, Tsangkhar, Drepong, Chakzor and Zunglen clearly reflected the strong bond between the school and community. Such togetherness reminds us that quality education becomes more meaningful when parents, teachers and the community work hand in hand for the growth of our children. The celebration also showcased the beautiful relationship between teachers and students built on love, respect and gratitude.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the parents for their enthusiastic participation, the delightful Teacher’s Day cake and refreshment. Your presence and support made the celebration more special and memorable.
Our sincere appreciation also goes to the supporting staff who put their heart and soul into making the programme a grand success. Thank you to all our dear students for your active involvement and cheerful participation.
A special note of gratitude is extended to Ms. Yoezer Lhamo and Ugyen Lhamo for successfully leading and coordinating the entire celebration.
Happy Teacher’s Day to all our dedicated teachers.
