Successfully conducted the 1st Round of Parent Teacher Meeting.
On 21 February 2026, the family of Gaytsa Primary School came together with deep gratitude and devotion to celebrate the Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the King, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck. The day was observed with reverence, unity, and joy, reflecting the love and respect that the people of Bhutan hold for their beloved monarch.
The celebration began with the offering of butter lamps and special prayers for the long life, good health, and continued wisdom of His Majesty. Students, teachers, and staff gathered in a spirit of harmony, praying for the peace and prosperity of the nation under His Majesty’s noble leadership. The soft glow of the butter lamps symbolized hope, gratitude, and unwavering loyalty, reminding everyone of the King’s selfless service to the country and its people.
Following the prayer ceremony, the school organized a series of fun and engaging activities for the students. These activities not only brought excitement and laughter but also strengthened teamwork, friendship, and school spirit. Through games and joyful participation, students celebrated the occasion in a meaningful way, understanding that national celebrations are also moments to build unity and happiness within the community.
The program served as an opportunity for young learners to reflect on the values of leadership, compassion, and responsibility that His Majesty embodies. It also reinforced a sense of national identity and pride among the students, helping them appreciate the blessings of peace and stability in Bhutan.
The celebration concluded with heartfelt wishes for the long life of His Majesty the King and continued peace and prosperity for the Kingdom. The Gaytsa Primary School family expressed their sincere prayers and gratitude, reaffirming their loyalty and dedication to the Tsa-Wa-Sum.
