LIKE Club at Tash*thang MSS celebrated International Youth Day in collaboration with the School Counsellor and the Scout team under the theme “Different Context, Same Aspirations.” The activity centered on creating a common aspiration wall, where students and teachers wrote down shared aspirations, highlighting that although our contexts may differ, our hopes and dreams remain the same.

Awareness program by the Royal Bhutan Police (RBP), Samtse, for students and teachers of Tash*thang MSS. The session focused on crime prevention, drug abuse awareness, and the shared responsibility of individuals in maintaining a safe and harmonious school and community environment. Through interactive discussions, the program aimed to equip both students and teachers with practical knowledge to recognize risks, make informed choices, and contribute positively to a drug-free and law-abiding society

12/08/26 — The English Department at Tash*thang MSS conducted an essay-writing competition for students from Grades 4 to 10 on a variety of engaging topics. Designed as part of the department’s way forward to enhance academic performance in English, the competition aimed to strengthen students’ writing skills, foster creativity, and build confidence in expressing ideas clearly and coherently. Participants showcased their critical thinking and imagination, while teachers provided constructive feedback to support continuous improvement in language proficiency.

27/07/26 — Tash*thang MSS celebrated World Scout Scarf Day alongside an investiture ceremony for Class PP students, officially welcoming them into the world of Scouting. The school also felicitated students who successfully completed the Student Leadership Training, recognizing their commitment to service and leadership. The event highlighted the values of unity, discipline, and responsibility as young learners donned their Scout scarves for the first time, marking the beginning of their journey as compassionate and capable members of the Scout community.

Harmony and house pride filled our school yesterday as the four houses competed in a vibrant Singing Competition. Students showcased impressive talent, confidence, and teamwork, making the event a true celebration of music and school spirit.

Heartfelt thanks to our cultural coordinator Mr. Sonam Tshering and co-partner Ms. Sangay Choden for organizing and leading the program, and to all teachers, staff, and students who supported the event.
