Workshop on System of Audit Quality Management in Bangkok

Four officials from the Royal Audit Authority are participating in a workshop on preparing SAIs to implement the revised ISSAI 140- Quality Management. The workshop, being held from March 31 to 4 April in Bangkok, Thailand, is organized by INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) in collaboration with Asian Development Bank and State Audit Office of the Kingdom of Thailand. A total of 30 participants from seven SAIs, including two observers from SAI Thailand, are attending the workshop.

During the workshop, the participants will be exposed to the requirements of the revised ISSAI 140 including the playbook developed by IDI providing guidance to SAIs in implementing the system of Audit Quality Management System (SoAQM). Additionally, the participants are also taught in using the tools and technical guidance on establishing the SoAQM in SAIs. After the workshop, the participants are expected to be play important role in leading the implementation of quality management as per the requirements of the revised ISSAI 140.

✅On August 28, 2024, the Integrity Club, led by the Club Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Treasurer, convened a meeting with its members.

✅During the session, the club members were briefed on the auditing process for the students' mess.

✅The coordinator streamlined the essential activities to be carried out for the semester, emphasizing efficiency and relevance.

✅Moreover, the coordinators reiterated the significance of full attendance at club meetings whenever they are scheduled.

The Auditor General and the RAA family welcomed ten Auditors, two Administrative Assistants, one Dispatcher, and one Gardener with Trashi Khadhars in a simple ceremony on 27 June 2024 at the RAA Head Office.

RAA Bids Farewell to Cheki Dorji, AAG

The Royal Audit Authority bid farewell to Cheki Dorji, Assistant Auditor General, Governance Cluster Division on his Voluntary Resignation from the civil service after serving the RAA for 26 years, 06 months and 6 days on 06 May 2024. He joined the Bhutan Health Trust Fund, MoH as Director.

The Hon. Auditor General presented a token of appreciation and thanked him for his dedicated service to the civil service and the RAA in particular.
