Recognising Hardwork outside Classroom

During the assembly, Mr. Kuenzang Dorji and Mr. Namgay Dorji (SUPW Coordinators) initiated and presented a token of appreciation to the students who maintained the best garden and the best SUPW area via Mr.Sangay Dorji (One of our VPs)

The students in the pictures below are the representatives of their respective mentoring groups who received the recognition for their hard work, cleanliness, and dedication.

Information: In our school SUPW & gardening are carried out in mentoring groups to further enhance mentor-mentee rapport.

A heartfelt farewell was extended to Tshering Euden, ADM Officer, as she leaves the education system to begin a new chapter in her career at the 𝗞𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝘆𝗮𝗹𝗽𝗼 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗵𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗻 (𝗞𝗚𝗨𝗠𝗦𝗕).

Mrs. Tshering Euden has served the school with 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, and 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 for around 𝟳 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, contributing greatly to the smooth functioning and growth of the institution. Her hard work and positive presence will always be remembered by the school community.

As she embarks on her new journey, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for her valuable service and wish her 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 in all her future endeavors.

It was a 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 to celebrate 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗗𝗮𝘆, honoring the dedication, passion, and hard work of the teachers.

The day was filled with 𝗷𝗼𝘆, 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, as students expressed their gratitude through various activities and heartfelt gestures.

It served as a reminder of the important role teachers play in shaping the future and nurturing young minds. We extend our sincere appreciation to all teachers for their 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 and 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 🌟

Two teachers shared their 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 from their recent 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮, offering valuable insights into innovative teaching practices and global exposure.

He attended the program at 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 and shared his experiences, including visits to important sites such as 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗲, the 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗵𝗶, and the 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝘆. His key takeaways included:

Mess Captains for the Month of May

They play a crucial role in supporting the school chefs by maintaining cleanliness and helping serve their fellow freinds during meal times.

Principal reminded them to use face masks to ensure better hygiene and appreciated the efforts of the previous mess captains for their valuable contributions. The newly appointed captains were also encouraged to take ownership of their responsibilities and carry out their duties with dedication.

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 🌍

A group of students represented 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗸𝗷𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (𝗗𝗴𝗖𝗦) at the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, held at DGI from 𝟮𝟭𝘀𝘁 – 𝟮𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹.

The conference brought together students from different schools in 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 and 𝗕𝗵𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗻, providing a platform to explore new perspectives on 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, and 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴. The theme, “𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝘅 – 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗵𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘆,” encouraged students to explore innovative ideas inspired by Bhutan’s values, practices, and the philosophy of 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 (𝗚𝗡𝗛).

During the assembly, 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗺 𝗡𝗴𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗻 shared her experiences and key learnings from the conference. She also presented the 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼 received during the event to the Principal as a token of participation and achievement.

The experience was enriching and inspiring, broadening students’ understanding of global issues while staying rooted in Bhutanese values. 🌟

𝗭𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗱𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗲 🙏

Drukjegang hosted the 𝗭𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗱𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗲 at 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗸𝗷𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴 in collaboration with the 𝗚𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝗺. A 𝗱𝗮𝘆-𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 was conducted, bringing together staff, students, and members of the community.

All staff and students actively participated, and the people from the community were also invited to offer their prayers. The event created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere, fostering unity, devotion, and cultural values among all participants. 🌿

𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 🌿

The staff of 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗸𝗷𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (𝗗𝗴𝗖𝗦), along with civil servants from 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗸𝗷𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴, 𝗧𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗵𝗮, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝗷𝗮 𝗚𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗴𝘀, actively participated in a day-long program to mark the 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆.

This year, the event was hosted by 𝗧𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗵𝗮 𝗠𝗦𝗦, featuring a variety of engaging and refreshing activities such as 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴 𝗭𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘆, 𝗭𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗮, 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝘀, 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹, and 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹. Competitions were organized across different categories, including male and female, as well as above and below 35 years.

Everyone had the opportunity to participate in at least one activity, making the event inclusive and lively. Certificates and medals were awarded to the winners of the track events.

The day was a truly refreshing and rejuvenating experience for all, promoting health, unity, and wellbeing among the participants. 🌟
