Today, the students and staff of Sadie Curtis Primary School proudly celebrated World Literacy Day—a wonderful reminder that reading opens doors, expands imaginations, and empowers us to dream bigger! 🌎📖

Our students embraced the joy of literacy through engaging activities that encouraged them to read, explore, create, and share. From the excitement of books and stories to meaningful learning experiences, our school community celebrated the power of words and the lifelong gift of literacy.

During today's SSR Time, teachers visited neighboring classes and read stories!

At Sadie Curtis Primary, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to become a confident reader and a lifelong learner. 💙📚

Dear Parents and Guardians of Sadie Curtis Primary School,

As we observe Su***de Prevention Week, we are reminded of the importance of creating a safe, caring, and supportive environment for every child.

At Sadie Curtis Primary School, we believe that every child matters, every voice deserves to be heard, and no child should feel alone. This week, we encourage parents and caregivers to take time to listen, connect, encourage, and reassure our children.

🌟 Talk with your child about their feelings.
🌟 Listen without judgment.
🌟 Encourage them to speak with a trusted adult when something is troubling them.
🌟 Remind them that asking for help is a sign of strength.
🌟 Work with us to foster kindness, belonging, and emotional well-being.

The administration and staff of Sadie Curtis Primary School extend our heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Daniel Nottage and the members of Fellowship Baptist Church for blessing our staff with a delicious breakfast and, even more importantly, with words of encouragement and inspiration as we begin a new school year, on Thursday 27th August 2026.

Your thoughtfulness, generosity, and willingness to pour into our educators reminded us that we are not alone in the important work of shaping the lives of our children. Your inspiring words challenged and encouraged us to approach this new school year with renewed purpose, faith, passion, and commitment.
