Welcome to The Spanish Fluency Centre’s official page, where kids ages 8 through 12 are given the opportunity to join the FLUENT BEFORE GRADE 7 programme. While we meet the needs of all students in primary and high school, FLUENT BEFORE GRADE 7 is our core programme, which is already producing 9 and 10 year olds who can conduct unrehearsed conversations in fluent Spanish. After 1 year, these students also read chapter books (text only books) in past and future tenses and are able to talk about what they read in Spanish. Some students (who already speak fluently) will be participating this summer in a 4 week exchange programme in Central America.
The ultimate goal is for them is to be successful in a global examinations through which they can acquire proficiency certification at 6 levels starting from age 11 years. At level 6 they will speak with near native fluency. These certificates are accepted around the world at universities and business institutions.
The same skill building techniques that are used for the core programme are also implemented in programmes that we provide for other Spanish students, such as: students who are struggling, BJC & BGCSE students, college students.
