Death is never easy, especially when it hits home.
Today I am saddened to inform you of the passing of our dear sister Melanie Thompson.😭
Melanie was always known and will always be remembered for her warm smile and bubbly personality and how can we forget those brownies❤
Melanie was always involved in our club and she served as our club's Public Relations Officer for the academic year 2017-2018. But to her we weren't just a club, we were Family.
So we the members of Sister 2 Sister UB Chapter sends our condolences to you the family of our dear Melanie. We pray God grants you the strength and courage to cope during this time.
Rest in Peace Melanie. We will miss you! ❤

World Cancer Day is the one singular initiative under which the entire world can unite together in the fight against the global cancer epidemic. It takes place every year on 4 February.

World Cancer Day aims to save millions of preventable deaths each year by raising awareness and education about cancer, and pressing governments and individuals across the world to take action against the disease.

The purpose of this event was to give our Person of Focus 2018-19 our donations for the year 2018.

We would like to thank all of the members of our great organization, staff and faculty at the University of the Bahamas, and The Circle K organization at the university’s campus for their outstanding support and donations to make this possible.
