Parents often ask how I assess a student's current level and track their progress over time. First, every student gets a free pre-assessment before lessons begin. This helps to uncover learning gaps, and to get the student used to online sessions.
*If you choose our learn-to-read programme, the student is assessed at the end of each of the three levels, to finish at a confident 3rd-grade level.
*If you choose our math acceleration programme, monthly assessments are given to ensure the progression of at least one grade level.
*If your child is in an exam year, past papers are practiced constantly, alongside necessary lessons.
This is a part of our holistic method for teaching and tutoring.
