Join us from wherever you are next Saturday! It’s a day of service to honour the late Dr David Mindorff 💚
LCIS invites all members of our community to join us on Saturday 21 March for a special Day of Service, held in memory of Past Principal Dr David Mindorff. Taking place across both campuses, this meaningful event offers the opportunity to complete voluntary work in our school gardens and along the nature trail. Participants will also help add one of the final touches to our new Outdoor Learning Space, which has been sponsored by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Small Grants Programme (SGP), implemented by the United Nations Development Programme.
Participants are welcome to join for any amount of time; every contribution makes a difference. Light refreshments will be served, and the official launch of the Outdoor Learning Space will take place at 12.30pm-1pm.

We had a blast at the exclusive Alumni & Mimosas tent, hosted by Mr Massey, after the Fun Run on Saturday. Our alums shared a drink and caught up with yearbooks dating from 1974 to 2025. It was great to see so many former students from across the years!

Former Head Girl Morgan Bower (Class of 2018) was recently featured in a post by Prime Minister Philip Brave Davis about The Bahamas’ Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) 3.0. Morgan is currently working as an Emissions Officer for the Climate Change & Environmental Advisory Unit (C2EAU). LCIS Alumni, like Morgan, are truly making in impact in their chosen fields at home and all over the world!

Thank you to all the Dragons that came out to our Alumni Reception in New York City. It was amazing catching up with former students, parents and staff. We even had a special guest appearance from former Principal Stacey Bobo.
This was just the beginning. More events are on the horizon, including our Annual Alumni Holiday Social (30 December) and a Spring Break Beach Reunion (21 March). Keep an eye on your inbox and our social channels for more details - we can’t wait to reconnect and grow our Dragon alumni family together.
