International Literacy Day 2026

📚✨ INTERNATIONAL LITERACY DAY 2026! ✨📚

Today, Ridgeland Primary School celebrated the power of reading, learning, and the joy of literacy! 🦅📖

We were thrilled to welcome some of our wonderful community partners (Christ the King, NHIA, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc) who joined us in the classrooms to read with our students and share their love of books and learning. Their time, encouragement, and enthusiasm helped make literacy come alive for our students! ❤️📚

Our celebration also included a brief Literacy Assembly, beautifully conducted by our Grade 6 Smith class. 👏🏽🎤📖 Our students reminded us that reading opens doors, builds imagination, strengthens communication, and empowers us to reach our fullest potential.

Yesterday, the Ridgeland Primary School family was delighted to celebrate the birthday of Rev’d Canon Stephen Davies in a truly special way! 🥳💚❤️

Our students and staff enjoyed a wonderful visit filled with music, smiles, laughter, and birthday cheer as the Police Pop Band helped us celebrate this special occasion. 🎶🎺🎤

What a joy it was to have our school community come together to honor Rev’d Canon Stephen Davies and share in the celebration.
