We recently had the privilege of welcoming a professional Captain to speak with our students during class. He shared valuable insight into what it’s truly like to work in the maritime industry both as a Captain and as a deckhand.
Our students had the opportunity to hear firsthand about the responsibilities, challenges, discipline, and rewards that come with life at sea. Exposure like this is so important, as it helps them better understand the real-world pathways available within the maritime industry.
