You did it!!!!
You raised the extra £1500 for the Skates we collected to get shipped to Uganda. I’m DEEPLY grateful to every single person who donated skates and or money for this project.

Many of you messaged me from other countries asking how you could donate your skates to this project. And many more groups in Africa messaged me asking for equipment. I’m thinking the best way is to try and connect all these people so that local collections and donations can be done in different cities around the world. The transportation costs are the first place to research as that’s the biggest obstacle. But with the right community effort we’ve shown here that it’s possible.
If you’re a Facebook group leader/admin or just an enthusiastic skater who wants to get involved in your city drop me an email [email protected] and I will try and link you up with those who need equipment….

What this project has shown me is that people care, about the planet and not chucking out good equipment and about helping others feel what we feel when we skate.

The whole project has felt like a Love Bomb.
I cannot wait to be seeing and sharing with you the follow up videos of the equipment arriving and being used. The best is yet to come!
