Greetings from Natal and thanks for voting. Our Monocots VII host election ended, and we had 211 votes. We are happy to announce that the Proposal (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsHuLyj1iwM)
sent by Dr. Adam Karremans and colleagues, from Costa Rica, won with 145 votes. Sarasota (USA) received 42 votes and Hangzhou (China) had 24. We thank all the three candidates for their important participation and wish very good luck to Jardín Botánico Lankester and Universidad de Costa Rica to set up our next meeting.

Recently, yellow fever cases in Brazil have raised.
