6 days. 23 coaching sessions. One special week. 💜

Another amazing stretch on the court! From beginners learning the game to experienced players sharpening their skills, every session brought progress, confidence, and plenty of great rallies. 🙌

But this week was extra special - I got to coach my family. 💜 Getting to share the game I love with the people closest to me made these sessions even more meaningful.

Thank you to everyone who trusted the coaching and put in the work. 💪

More drills. More rallies. More improvement. More fun. 🏓🔥

See you on the court! 💪💜

Coach Si - Asawa Edition 💜

Episode: Ka-Doubles Pero Gusto Siya Lang Ang Bida 😂🏓

Akala ko doubles… bakit parang may main character? 🤔😂

Today’s lesson comes from a very special guest coach - My Wife. And apparently, marami pala siyang observations sa laro ko. 😅

Sabi niya, kapag magka-doubles kami, may moments daw na nakakalimutan kong dalawa kami sa court. Gusto ko ako kukuha ng forehand, backhand, middle ball… pati yata bola niya. 😂

So for today, siya muna ang coach. Ako ang student. 🫡

🏓 Trust Your Partner – Hindi lahat ng bola kailangan mong kunin. If your partner has the better position, let them play it.

🏓 Respect the Middle – Communication is key. Call the ball, know your coverage, at huwag biglang sumulpot dahil feeling mo “mine” lahat. 😂

🏓 Play as a Team, Not the Bida – Doubles isn’t about who gets more shots. It’s about positioning, teamwork, and setting each other up to win the point.

The goal? Two players, one team. Hindi one player… plus spectator na asawa. 😂💜
At dahil asawa ko ang voice-over, wala akong right mag-rebuttal. Yes, Coach. Noted po. 🫡😂

💬 Mga ka-pickleball, may ganito rin ba kayong doubles partner? Yung minsan kailangan mong paalalahanan na “Hello, partner mo rin ako!” 😂

Tag them below! 👇

15 days. 53 coaching sessions. Countless rallies, lessons, and breakthroughs. 💜

What an incredible stretch on the court!

From players picking up a paddle for the first time to experienced players working on the finer details of their game, every session has been unique. Different goals, different challenges, but the same commitment to getting better.

53 sessions in 15 days and what stands out most isn’t the number. It’s seeing the progress: better movement, smarter decisions, more confidence, and those moments when everything finally clicks. 🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who stepped onto the court with me, trusted the coaching, stayed curious, and put in the work. 💪💜

We’re just getting started.

More drills. More rallies. More improvement. More fun. 🏓🔥

See you on the court! 💪💜

20 New Players. A Whole New Pickleball Journey! 💜

A big thank you to Team Majestic Chemicals Industries for trusting Coach Si Pickleball to conduct a Beginner’s Pickleball Clinic for 20 of your employees! 🙌

It was a pleasure introducing everyone to the game, from learning the fundamentals and proper techniques to experiencing the fun, energy, and excitement of playing together on the court.

Seeing new players pick up their paddles, learn something new, enjoy every rally, and support one another is always a reminder of why I love coaching. 💪

Special thanks to my amazing Assistant Coaches, Coach Ace, Coach Gelo, and Coach Mico for helping me run the clinic smoothly and successfully. Your energy, patience, and teamwork made a huge difference. 🙌

And of course, thank you to all 20 players for your trust, participation, and enthusiasm! I hope this is just the beginning of your pickleball journey. 🏓

More learning. More rallies. More connections. More pickleball!

Thank you once again, Team Majestic Chemicals Industries, for having Coach Si and the team. 💜

See you on the court! 💪💜

Ready Position 💜

Every great point starts before the ball even comes your way. Having the right ready position helps you react faster, move more efficiently, and stay prepared for whatever shot comes next.

🏓 Get Ready to Play
Keep your paddle up and in front, bend your knees, lean slightly forward, and maintain a wide, balanced base. Keep your eyes forward and stay light on your feet so you can move quickly in any direction.

⚡ Why It Matters

A proper ready position gives you:
• Faster reactions
• Better control
• More confidence
• Stronger and more consistent play

💡 Remember:
You don't always need a big change to improve your game. Small adjustments in your fundamentals can create a big difference on the court.

Right fundamentals. Better habits. Brighter results. 💜

💬 Are you always in the ready position before your opponent hits the ball?
