🇬🇧 Você já ouviu falar no RP Accent?
O inglês britânico tem vários sotaques, e o Received Pronunciation (RP) é um deles. Conhecido como o sotaque tradicionalmente associado à família real britânica, ele tem algumas diferenças interessantes em relação ao inglês americano — principalmente na pronúncia do R, do T e de algumas palavras. 👀

“Today I would like to talk about the RP accent. The RP accent or the Received Pronunciation is an accent spoken in the United Kingdom. We know that there are a lot of accents in the United Kingdom, but the RP is known as the king's or the queen's accent because it's the way the royal family talks. Some difference. In the American English we would say car, car. But in the RP accent we would say car, car, not pronouncing the R in the end of the word. Another difference: in the American we would say city, city. In the RP pronunciation we would say city, city. The T has a sound of T, not the sound of an R, for example. And it's very important to remind that the RP accent is very fancy, very posh. And it's only spoken by a very little minority in the United Kingdom. So, you see how the English language is so diverse? Thank you very much!”
