This Pulsar generator belongs to Zip Zap RV Detailing a veteran owned and family operated mobile detailing business. They do great work and take real pride in every detail—definitely check them out! When their generator went down, we diagnosed the problem and traced it to an electrical issue with the selector switch. The original replacement wasn’t readily available, so we sourced an aftermarket replacement, rewired the new switch to work correctly, tested the system, and got this genny back in action. ⚡

But here’s the part we’re especially proud of.

We knew they couldn’t afford to stop working while we waited for parts, so we provided them with one of our rental generators at a great rate to keep their business operating while we completed the repair.

A customer brought us his Champion generator for some much needed maintenance, and this thing definitely needed some love! 🔧⚡

We got it cleaned up, serviced, running right, and back to the customer ready for storm season. 🌧️⛈️

Quick small engine tip: If your generator, mower, pressure washer, or other small engine sits for long periods of time, use ethanol free fuel whenever possible.

See all that nasty sludge? A lot of that comes from ethanol fuel sitting in the fuel system. Over time, it can cause buildup, clogged carburetors, hard starting, and a generator that decides not to cooperate right when you need it most.

Storm season is NOT the time to find out your generator won’t start. 😂

Run it. Maintain it. Keep fresh fuel in it. Be ready before the storm comes.
