The CEMS Global Ambassador Program is an initiative of the CEMS Student Board. It aims to further develop a "young" CEMS Club and inculcate CEMS Spirit in the newly inducted schools. The Ambassador is a person with previous CEMS Club experience who works alongside with the CEMS Club during his/her exchange. This page should allow to share the stories of the ambassadors and to facilitate sharing experiences and ideas.

[Global Ambassador Program at Keio Univeristy]

Perrine Villers from Louvain School of Management made a huge impact as the Global Ambassodar at Keio! Many thanks to Perrine! 🎉🎉🎉

> What was your goal as the GA?
(1) to encourage CSR and sustainable events in Tokyo, (2) to establish a contact between the different CEMS Clubs in Asia to reinforce the network and CEMS spirit in that part of the world, (3) to foster a good integration of CEMS exchange students with the Japanese culture

> What activities have you done with the CEMS Club?
Apart from grabbing drinks, memorable group works, company visits and some other casual and academic activities, we had some specific events that were a lot of fun:
(1) An eventful CEMS Global Responsibility week:
- Cultivating Taro potatoes and ginger in the middle of the city with the local Japanese urban farming club
- A Challenge in place for CEMSies to reduce their plastic consumption,
- A global sustainable potluck dinner,
- A movie night to raise awareness about environmental issues.
(2) A dinner and drinks in a traditional Japanese pub (izakaya) to welcome visiting CEMSies from South Korea
(3) Several trips in Japan, including one in Kawaguchiko at the bottom of Mount Fuji, with a night and breakfast in a traditional Japanese inn (ryokan)

> What was the most memorable moment of your exchange term?
I’ve had many memorable moments, I’d say that the farming session with CEMSies in the middle of the city was a very memorable one, as well as the group work sessions on our Design&Thinking project which were a lot of fun to work on together. A special mention goes to the moment where we got to see Mount Fuji emerge from the clouds at sunset in Kawaguchiko, all while enchanting music was played by a group of observers, I think it was a great moment for most of CEMSies present!

[Global Ambassador Program in Korea]

Paulo Pitta E Cunha from Nova School of Business and Economics did a fantastic job as the Global Ambassador at KUBS! Thank you so much, Paulo!

> What was your goal as a GA?
First, to smoothen the transition of the CEMS Club between semesters; Second, to help address local stakeholders

> What was the most memorable moment during the term?
It was undoubtedly the orientation/kick-off weekend,
where all the CEMSIES and Global MBA students slept in the Marriott Hotel. This is where all started, friendships started to bloom, we were introduced to our fellow Korean
colleagues and took part in an initial crazy ceremony, after we partied in Gangnam. We had a blast!

With an aim to strengthen relationships among CEMS schools in Asia, CEMS Club Singapore flew to Hong Kong and was cordially hosted by CEMS Club Hong Kong over a traditional hot pot on Saturday, 14th October 2017. More than 35 students from HKUST and NUS were present to share their experiences and have a great evening together. The club members also used this opportunity to discuss best practices and share common pressing issues. This collaboration is only the beginning of a new adventure and we all hope that this can be replicated across other GAP schools in the near future. :)

Kudos to Anne-Sophie Vd, CEMS Global Ambassador at NUS, Emma Hbrgh, CEMS Global Ambassador at HKUST, CEMS Club Singapore and CEMS Club Hong Kong for pulling this off and we wish you success in all such future endeavours.

Tobias from NOVA did a fantastic job as the Ambassador at FGV in São Paulo. We are very thankful for you work and your contribution on spreading the CEMS spirit in Brazil!
THANK YOU, Tobias, for all your work during this spring semester!

1. What was your goal for the semester as the ambassador of FGV?
- My goal as ambassador was to create value for all students by having a well organized and creative CEMS Club board. With many events and activities people were able to connect and make the most out of their exchange experience.
2. What activities have you done together with the CEMS Club FGV?
- The activities started from an internal meeting with the local CEMS program manager and coordinator, regular CEMS Club meetings and, ex*****on and participation of events, parties and lots of fun during weekend beach trips :)
3. What was the most memorable moment of your exchange semester in Brazil?
- Seeing a broad range of great places varying from a stunning nature with beautiful islands and endless beaches over the huge Amazonas river and forests with all kinds of amazing animals are the most memorable moments of Brazil. But it’s not all about traveling without thinking of the people of Brazil who are very friendly. I remember their warm welcome at the beginning of my stay and one occasion where someone run after me in Parque Ibirapuera while I was jogging to give me the money back that dropped out of my pocket.

Julien Ramone from the University of Sydney Business School did an amazing job as the Ambassador at the National University of Singapore.
We are really grateful for his work to spread the CEMS spirit in Southeast Asia. Julien, thank you very much for all your working during this spring semester!

1. What was your goal for the semester as the ambassador of NUS?
- As CEMS ambassador, I made my main goal to ensure the integration of the CEMS spirit to the cohort as soon as the semester started. By doing so, I I wanted to set expectations to the students and enable the CEMS Club to have the motivation and environment to organize a fantastic semester. I however tried to maintain the Ambassador role as an advisory role. Once the starting blocks were installed, I moved from an active participant of the Club's affair to a more supportive asset. The CEMS Club was highly motivated and did a great job, which made my task really easy!
2. What was the most memorable moment/event from Singapore so far?
- The week end in Rawa really created a cohesion between us that allowed everything. Definitely a must.
