Future City New England

It's all real! Next year, we officially are two regions - EASTERN NEW ENGLAND and WESTERN NEW ENGLAND! Thank you Brianna D'Alessio and ReadyCT for co-coordinating the WESTERN REGION with me! The dates are all up in the system. I will confirm locations but my plan is back in Enfield CT for WEST and back at Wentworth for EAST. Every school / organization can pick for themselves where they want to go but all your teams need to go to the same one. I'm putting out the call for volunteers next, but right now EDUCATORS PLEASE REGISTER! Great news!! Our New England region has grown enough to be TWO REGIONS!! When registration opens, New England teams will be asked if they want Western New England or eastern. We do not need to select one single winner. The winner of each region will go to DC!

You all ought to be very proud of yourselves here in New England for your great Future City teams! Here are the results!

We are excited to be kicking off our 27th year of FUTURE city here in New England. Like last year, regardless how it reads on the national website, there will be a western New England semifinal on January 17 and an Eastern New England semifinal on the morning of January 24. Following the Eastern semifinal, we will have the finals on January 24. in addition to the middle school teams, we also invite our high school teams to attend. They are in a completely independent virtual competition, but we are going to have a few special awards for them and are looking forward to all the middle school students seeing the great work they have done and what they have to look forward to!
