The team organized a fascinating lunar observation where participants not only learned about our natural satellite with educational materials from NASA Education but also had the chance to see it up close through telescopes. 🔭👀

In the photos, our incredible staff (both in action and behind the scenes) who made this unforgettable experience possible, guiding attendees every step of the way. Thank you for sharing your passion for astronomy! 🌌🚀

✨ Archaeoastronomy: Uniting Cultures Through the Stars ✨🌌

On August 23rd at CBA Santa Cruz, we had the privilege of hosting a special talk on "Archaeoastronomy: Contributions of Bolivian and American Cultures to Astronomy." With the participation of Sulma Valdez and Isabel, a student from the University of Kentucky, we explored the incredible contributions of the Guaraní and Navajo peoples to astronomical science.

🌍🌟 Attendees, ranging from university students to the general public, learned how our ancestors, both in Bolivia and the United States, observed and understood the sky, leaving a legacy that continues to inspire modern science. This activity sparked curiosity, cultural pride, and motivated the next generation of astronomy researchers!

🔭 Would you like to see more programs like this in the future?💫
