Madalas nating napakikinggan ang mga katagang “Trust in God” “Magtiwala sa Diyos!” “Tiwala lang sa taas”. Do we ever ask ourselves: AM I TRUSTWORTHY?

We don’t need to question God kung trustworthy ba Siya. Our God is no doubt, 100% trustworthy. He is God, He never fails, He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He cannot contradict who He is. He is sovereign.

What about us? God is expecting each one of us to be trustworthy. That’s why the Apostle Paul said in 1 Timothy 1:12-14 “I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.”

AREAS IN OUR LIFE WHERE WE NEED TO BE TRUSTWORTHY:
1. In God’s gifts and given abilities (James 1:17, Luke 16:1-12, Romans 12:6-8, 1 Peter 4:10-11)

2. In relationships such as:
- in FRIENDSHIP(David and Ahithophel, Psalm 55:12-14)
- in BRETHREN (Judas Iscariot, Matthew 26:14-16)
- in MARRIAGE (Hebrews 13:4)
- in FAMILY (Colossians 3:20-21)
- in WORK/BUSINESS/SCHOOL (Colossians 3:23-24)

3. In time (Matthew 6:33, Luke 12:42-46, Ephesians 5:16-17)

4. In Gospel (Romans 10:13-15, Matthew 28:19-20)

Trust is hard to build, easy to break.
Reputation is what others see you do, CHARACTER is what you do WHEN THERE’S NO ONE WATCHING. Am I trustworthy?

Unconditional Love of a Parent - Breaking The Chains of Poverty

Remember your Children are not your Retirement Fund.
Be Financially Independent.. Do not RELY on your children.

Plan for your future and retirement and only have children that you can afford.

Your Children will help you if they really want to (unconditionally).
Do not pressure or give an obligation to your children a responsibility that you yourself are not able to establish.

Let your children have the life that they deserve and do not expect anything in return.

While our children can help us, it should be done voluntarily and not as an obligation. By then, our children will have their own families to look after. We owe it to ourselves to maintain our DIGNITY despite sickness and old age.

Ang toxic na buong angkan o pamilya umaasa lang sa isang tao. Pag di mo sila napagbigyan, masama ka na at sisiraan ka sa madaming tao.

Hanga tayo sa mga Ate/Kuya pati BUNSO NA GINAWANG PANGANAY SA RESPINSIBILIDAD na breadwinners dyan, taas ng respeto natin sa mga tumayong magulang na kapatid/kamag-anak. Pero hanggang dito nalang ba? OR HANGGANG KAILAN KAYA?

So heartbreaking watching this interview with Herlene Budol a.k.a Hipon Girl. Naubos ang perang naipon because of the pandemic at hindi niya na maharap ang mga kamag-anak na umaasa sa kanya 😢

She's young, wala pang anak na sinusuportahan, pero bat parang pasan na niya ang buong mundo?

Dito sa Pilipinas, isa sa burden na nabibigay sa isang anak pag nag ta-trabaho na is to become their parents' retirement getaway.

Madaming older generations walang investment, walang insurance, at savings kasi andyan naman daw ang mga anak nila para buhayin at bumawi.

IT'S TIME TO STOP THAT MINDSET.

To breadwinners, aside from MONEY na ibibigay sa mga kamag-anak, why not give them LEARNINGS instead?

Pag binigyan mo ang tao ng pera, malaki ang chance na mauubos yan. But if you give someone an opportunity to learn, no need bigyan kasi hindi yan hihingi - kasi sila na mismo ang maghihirap para kunin yun.
