As an ISB alumna and lifer, Aleysha Shahminan continues to give back to the school by helping every Wednesday morning in Kindy. She also enjoys working alongside Ms Apple and Ms Nadine, who played an important role in supporting her during her time at ISB.

Recently, Aleysha also presented her learning materials to ISB so they can continue to benefit future students.

A warm thank you to Aleysha for this meaningful gesture.

We were delighted to welcome Ahmad Shufiady, our alumnus from the Class of 2025, back to ISB on Monday 26th January to deliver a presentation to our current sixth form students about applying for Bruneian scholarships. He gave an introduction into the different agencies that provide scholarships to study abroad and advice of how to stay ahead in the selection process which was invaluable to our Y13 students who have just started their scholarship applications. Ahmad was offered the BSJV Shell scholarship, MoE scholarship and Sultan’s scholarship in 2025 so had a wealth of knowledge to share. Thank you so much to Ahmad for generously sharing his time and advice – we wish him all the best for starting his Mathematics and Statistics degree at the University of Melbourne in the coming weeks!
