URMAPha Universite D'Abomey-Calavi is proud to announce the selection of our researcher, Dr. Fréjus Ohouko, for the second cohort of the prestigious African STARS Young Professional Programme (YPP).
This flagship continental initiative, led by African STARS, is dedicated to shaping a new generation of African scientific leaders through advanced capacity building in research management, innovation, entrepreneurship, and strategic partnerships.
Following a highly competitive selection process, Dr. Fréjus Ohouko has been selected to join the teams at Institut Pasteur de Dakar, where he will further strengthen his expertise and contribute to transformative innovations in public health.
This programme represents a major stepping stone in his journey within health innovation and entrepreneurship—fields that are essential to addressing the pressing health challenges facing our continent. Through this opportunity, he will enhance his skills, build strategic collaborations, and amplify Benin’s voice in key sectors such as biotechnology, vaccination, and diagnostics.
In return, Dr. Ohouko is committed to:
