Students take over the school For one day!

For one day each year two students shadow the Principal and Vice Principal throughout their routine schedule. The Student Principal and Vice Principal of the Day is an annual event at Al Wisam School. It aims to motivate young learners to reach new heights and to inspire them to future careers in education or management. This year's event was held on 16 May. The two luck students, Michael Magdy Harmina Year 9, and Asayel Mandeel Year 7, were given the opportunity to shadow the Principal and Vice Principal of Al Wisam School.
The student's busy schedule included many actual duties, from supervising the playground before classes commenced; making the morning announcements; sitting in on school improvement meetings; conducting informal classroom observations; giving written feedback to teachers and attending a professional development training session. "The students benefited from a real life insight into the daily routine of managing a busy school, and we were delighted to have them on board", said Dr. Lina Lewis, AWS Principal.

Al Wisam's way of celebrating Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's 91st Birthday

Sarah Ashraf is an Al Wisam Student that will be honored by the Minister of Education"Dr. Majid Al-Nuaimi" on May 11th among the students who were qualified for the final of the Arabic Reading Competition in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

AlWisam students went on an exciting international trip to France and Belgium during April spring break 2017. They were given the opportunity to discover the European culture, history and lifestyle. Students visited monumental locations that includes visit to amazing picturesque town Bruge, Atomium, Mini Europe, Famous chocolate shops lining the cobbled streets, Brussels historical Town hall, Statues of Patriotic world war fighters, Architectural masterpieces of castles and cathedrals, Disney Land, Magnificent Eiffel Tower, Arc De Triomphe, Sacré-Cœur, and Canal boat tour. Students were inspired by history, art, landscape , weather, cuisine and Symbolic structures of aluminium and steel .

Al Wisam School Conducted Its First Career Fair in collaboration with Gulf air and other professionals enabling the students to meet individuals that have excelled in a specific field and have developed themselves accordingly.
