It is now official! Maple Bear Sofia School is opening its doors to high school students offering Dual Diploma!
This is a key milestone for education in Central and Eastern Europe. Maple Bear High School Sofia will be the first Maple Bear high school in the entire CEE region a natural next step for the community we have built together through elementary and middle school.

From the very beginning, our mission has been clear: prepare the next generation of successful, globally minded young people by giving them an environment where critical thinking, creativity, and high academic standards are not just values on a wall - they are lived every single day.
Our students can continue growing in the same nurturing, bilingual, Canadian-curriculum environment they know - all the way through high school to the road of the Dual Diploma!

Maple Bear Kindergarten Sofia

And just like that, we had the privilege of hosting a second outstanding experience for the Maple Bear educators in CEE at the Maple Bear Teachers Conference - this time in Sofia.
We Grow Together is more than a theme - it reflects the continued growth of Maple Bear CEE across 22 countries.
The conference in Sofia was a truly inspiring networking platform, bringing together educators, school leaders, and academic teams from across Bulgaria, Czechia, Romania, Serbia, Albania, the USA, and Canada.

A special thank you to Martine Lewis, Chief Academic Officer and Tammy-Lynne Peel, Director of professional development of Maple Bear Global Schools Ltd. for delivering engaging and thought-provoking sessions that left a lasting impact.

What an incredible experience at the Maple Bear Teachers Conference in Prague! We Grow Together!
While it was a highly valuable professional development gathering, it was so much more than that - it was a truly inspiring networking event that brought together educators, school leaders, and academic teams from across Poland, Czechia, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Serbia, the USA and Canada.
A day filled with meaningful connections, fresh insights, and shared learning.
