When you stumble
Make it part of your dance 💃 🕺

Have you ever noticed
that your life has been
choreographed into
a beautiful dance.

The grace of a ballerina
The pumping moves of a gangsta
The tip-toe fast paced fox trot
And the tumbles of
the contemporary dancer.

And then all of a sudden
You find yourself flat on your face
or maybe down on your knees.

The choreographed dance
featured a move you weren’t ready for
A stumble you didn’t anticipate
or didn’t see coming.

But to the observers in your life
You manoeuvred that move
into your dance.

The dramatic effect
the unanticipated stumble
you being down on the floor
makes your dance so much more beautiful

You, the dancer, become much more beautiful.
We, the observer, can see your rawness, your finesse, your beauty,
as you navigate your way
into the next beautiful pirouette.

Because as a dancer
You will stumble.
You will fall.
But you will also rise up
And recognise that that too
Is part of your dance.
