Welcome to Sofia! If you are looking for a place to start your touristic visit you can give this tram a try. Situated in the city centre between the Bath (museum of Sofia) and the Central Market (Централни Хали). There you can get some maps and information about free walking tours and what to do round the city. This is also a very good point to start your own exploration, because you are surrounded by landmarks and places of interest.

Foreigners in the Motherland is a fictional book written by our team for people who are studying Bulgarian. It is for people who already covered the basics and are A2 or B1 levels. It moves through topics that are covered in these levels and it tells the story of two characters who come to Bulgaria. One of the stories is in the form of a comic book. The book is completely in Bulgarian and it has a comprehensive dictionary at the end. It is quite fun!
