Hello dear friends. Here is a beautiful testimony of how God is changing our lives.
Enjoy the testimony of our training participant.

I remember the first time I saw Poli, sitting in the dining room in our training center. Alone, waiting for her mother who was in interview with the director of ACCESS. Her beautiful and big eyes were expressing hope but fear at the same time. Our Center was their only exit for her to come back closer to God and be educated to serve Him.

With just 20 years old, Poli had experienced the struggles that the addictions to drugs carry in it.

Born in Shumen, Bulgaria, in a seventh-day Adventist family, Poli grew up attending to the local church with her father, mother and twin brother. Every Sabbath she enjoyed the Children’s Sabbath School, but at the age of 12 was not attracted to the church program anymore.

At that time, she was feeling so lonely at home and started to meet with new friends and attending parties where started to smoke and use drugs. She liked so much the new experience because she felt more confident, going deeper and deeper into it. Sadly, after some time all her friends abandoned her and the relationship with her parents was very bad. The addictions made Poli to hit bottom. Tired of that life and the pain she caused to her family, came to her mother for help. Her mother talked to her about ACCESS Training Center, in Bulgaria, where she received a Medical Missionary Course, in May of 2019. Poli knew that she was so far from God, but she held on the possibility that she could receive the help she needed so much. Happy to be accepted, the hope came to her life.

The first week she was looking for any excuse to come back home. Taking the classes in English in the mornings, detox treatment in the afternoons, a new diet, and the lifestyle it was too much for her. Her level of English was not enough to understand the classes and she was feeling lost.

The second week the classes were translated to her mother language, and then she got connected with some topics. It was hard to keep the attention, but the dynamic of the program helped to catch her interest and attention. The missionary trips and the support of the students and staff were key in this process.

In just two months and a half, Poli has noticed the changes the Holy Spirit is performing in her life through the training. She feels more content with the new diet and knowledge. Still, too much path to walk, but she has the hope God will help her to overcome every temptation and tendency to satisfy the appetite. Her desire is to serve God as missioner for the rest of her life and no coming back to her previous life.
