It is with great pride that we celebrate today a major stage in the career of our Fellow Raïmatou OUEDRAOGO, who supported with excellence her end of cycle thesis as part of her Professional Bachelor degree in Food Quality and Health Safety, obtained with the remarkable score of 18/20.

Beyond the diploma, it is a whole trajectory made of challenges, adaptation to a demanding environment and self improvement that Raïmatou embodies.

Between doubts, unforeseen events and hard work, his journey has been rich in learning, resilience and remarkable encounters.

This Defence marks the beginning of a new chapter for her, driven by ambitious projects and even greater dreams.

We send our warm congratulations to Raïmatou and thank all those who supported her in this adventure.

Excellency Story

We are proud to spotlight Isaac Junior OUEDRAOGO, a committed Fellow and recipient of the prestigious Turkish 🇹🇷Government Scholarship, who successfully completed a one-year language training at the TÖMER Language Center of Çukurova University in Adana.

This year abroad was much more than an academic journey:
✅ A full immersion into the cultural richness and human values of Türkiye;
✅ Active participation in cultural excursions, festivals, and heritage visits;
✅ A successful integration into a diverse international student community from Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

His open-mindedness, intellectual curiosity, and adaptability earned him a place among the top students of his cohort a distinction that reflects his dedication, deep respect for Turkish culture, and unwavering pursuit of excellence.

Through this experience, Isaac Junior strengthened his global perspective, cultivated intercultural tolerance, and built lasting friendships. Today, he feels more prepared than ever to pursue a Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics, with a renewed vision, an open heart, and a firm determination to contribute to a more just, greener, and inclusive world.

His journey stands as a powerful example of:

We are proud to honour CONGO Yasmina Ina Carole, an exemplary Fellow who, thanks to the prestigious Chinese Government Excellence Scholarship, began in September 2024 a one-year linguistic immersion at Northeast Normal University, one of the most recognised universities in China.

This year of immersion was a real human and intellectual adventure, marked by:

✅ Successful integration into a new cultural and academic environment;

✅ Active participation in university activities, crowned by several certificates of distinction;

✅ An official recognition of his leadership qualities with the award of the Best Delegate award, accompanied by a certificate of merit.

At the end-of-year ceremony, Yasmina distinguished herself among the best in her university.

With remarkable academic results and obtaining the HSK 5 level in Chinese language (advanced level), she confirms her constant commitment to excellence and her ability to meet challenges internationally.

Her career embodies a rare combination of:

We are proud to see 7 Tegawende Fellows currently taking part in the Hiroshima ICAN Academy 2025, a prestigious global program on peace, security, and global leadership.

Selected through a very competitive international process, our fellows studying in Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 , Ghana 🇬🇭 , and China 🇨🇳 are engaging in high level conversations with experts, survivors, and young leaders from across the world.

This immersive experience is leading them to strengthen their voices, expand their global perspectives, and contribute to building a more peaceful and secure world.

We are committed to prepare young changemakers to take part in shaping global narratives and solutions.

The Tegawende Foundation is proud to announce that Rebecca Grâce LENGANI, a Fellow of the Foundation, has been selected to participate in the 7th Women Leadership in Africa Forum (Initiative Women Leadership in Africa - Wolaf ). She earned her spot through the WoLAF 7 Special Riddle Contest, where she provided the correct answer and received the highest number of reactions on her comment.

The Tegawende Foundation is proud to announce that Brunhilda Simonette Tapsoba, Fellow of the Foundation, has been selected to participate in the Mentorship Program of the 7th Women Leadership in Africa Forum (Initiative Women Leadership in Africa - Wolaf WOLAF) in the “International Institutions and Diplomacy” category.

As a Fellow, Brunhilda Tapsoba will have the unique opportunity to take part in a high-level mentorship program aimed at strengthening the leadership skills of emerging women leaders in the fields of international institutions and diplomacy. This strategic program offers valuable exchanges with international experts and aims to develop actionable solutions for a more inclusive and equitable future, particularly through the empowerment of women and the integration of gender issues into public policies.

Since February 2025, Aude Leatitia AGNIMEL 🟣 , a dedicated communicator and Fellow of the Tegawende Foundation, has embarked on a Voluntary International Solidarity (VSI) mission in France 🇫🇷 . Her goal? To leverage her skills and leadership for social inclusion and ecological transition.

Aude is currently working with Optim'ism an organization that promotes social economy and employment opportunities for vulnerable communities. Using her expertise in communication and project management, she helps bring visibility to impactful social and environmental initiatives. Previously, at Nebeday in Senegal 🇸🇳 , she contributed to the Great Green Wall project, reinforcing her dedication to building a more just and sustainable world.

As a graduate in Business Administration from IFAG, Aude is not just excelling in her field—she is creating opportunities for others. As the promoter and co-founder of LinkedIn Tour/BF , she and her team have already trained over 1,500 young professionals and aim to reach 5,000 beneficiaries by 2025.

Aude’s story is proof that strong commitment, driven by a clear vision, can break barriers and open doors to a better future. Her journey embodies the values we uphold at the Tegawende Foundation: leadership, impact, and resilience.

We are proud to announce that Annita Sanandon PARE, one of our Tegawende Fellows, has been selected for the 7th edition of the Women Leadership in Africa Forum (Initiative Women Leadership in Africa - Wolaf) in the Business and Multinational category.

This prestigious forum, taking place in March 2025 in Ouagadougou, provides a platform for discussions and reflections on female leadership, global governance, and international cooperation.
