Let's practice French and English with a little story:

Français

Julien est entré dans une boulangerie à Bruxelles pour acheter une baguette.

Un peu stressé, il a dit :
"Bonjour, je voudrais un gâteau, s'il vous plaît."

La boulangère a souri et a demandé :
"Vous voulez vraiment un gâteau... ou une baguette ?"

Julien a regardé le pain, puis il a éclaté de rire.

"Une baguette ! Mon français est encore en train de se réveiller !"

La boulangère lui a répondu :
"Ne vous inquiétez pas. Ici, on apprend tous les jours."

🥖 Et Julien est reparti avec une baguette... et un peu plus de confiance.

Julien walked into a bakery in Brussels to buy a baguette.

A little nervous, he said,
"Hello, I'd like a cake, please."

The baker smiled and asked,
"Do you really want a cake... or a baguette?"

Julien looked at the bread and burst out laughing.

"A baguette! My French is still waking up!"

The baker replied,
"Don't worry. We all learn something every day."

🥖 Julien left with a baguette... and a little more confidence.
