Every Sunday, one of Brussels’ biggest markets takes over the streets around Gare du Midi, with hundreds of stalls selling everything from fresh produce to cheese, flowers and street food. Today I am showing you around, pointing out where to find good deals, and trying some of the delicious street food.

Literally, that means to fall through the door into the house. But here in Belgium, it means getting straight to the point. Which is exactly what I’m going to do, because this is one of 12 weird expressions that you should know if you’re going to live in Belgium.
