おさんどん Japanese Salon for language&cooking Let's enjoy the real Japanese home-cooking with "osandon" chef and Japanese teacher. Check out our session every two months!
日本語でおしゃべりをしながらおさんどん料理を楽しむ会です。

Salon OSANDON is not a simple cooking class. It is a workshop, that you can learn the cultural background of Japanese cuisine. Moreover, the instructors are experienced Japanese language teachers, who are supporting and encouraging participants to enlarge potential knowledge of fundamental Japanese language.

- At salon:
1. Learn today’s theme and recipe with some technical terms of cooking in Japanese. We will distribute the material with useful information.
2. Join the cooking with Osandon chef.
3. Discuss with other participants about today’s theme.
4. Finally, we enjoy the meal altogether!
- サロン・イベント内容
1. その日の和食のテーマ、レシピ、料理用語などを記載したテキストを配布し、一緒に学びます。
2. おさんどんシェフがその日の料理を作るのに参加しましょう。
3. 参加者とその日のテーマやメニュについて話し合います。日本人の方は、日本語学習者とのおしゃべりをどうぞ楽しく導いてください。
4. 最後に皆で一緒に美味しい料理をいただきましょう！

Date & Time: Saturday 24 June
Place: Ban Sen Juku Aikido

Theme: Ichi-jû Issai （一汁一菜）: literally, one soup and one dish/meal, that means the minimal base of Japanese cuisine.
Through this session, we will mention to a core concept of the Japanese food culture as well. The “menu” will be announced later.
