This past Saturday, we stepped out of our routines to think differently 🌱

Our Shapers offsite brought us across Brussels for a city challenge, where we explored iconic Brussels landmarks, into a design thinking mindset, with a workshop by Alin, precious Shaper from the Bucharest Hub.

We finished the morning in the park to share ideas and frites, typical Belgian way.

Moments like these help shape the projects - and the community - we’re building.

🫧 Brussels runs on bubbles.

This week, Generation and .be
brought two of them together over networking drinks. New faces, real conversations, and the kind of energy that makes you remember why community matters.

Thank you to everyone who came. More to come soon!

Ready, set, go! 🏃‍♀️🏃
A few weeks ago, we ran a 5K across the blooming Brussels parks to support Ukraine 🇺🇦 - where over 20 runners joined us to spread awareness (and collect funds) for the Anti-Drone Nets that keep saving Ukrainian lives! 💙💛
Many thanks to for partnering with our Move BXL project team to bring together one —of hopefully many— “Crossover” 🔁 events in the city, to .meli.brussels for welcoming us ☕️ before and after the run, and of course, thank you to every single one who shared that sunny Sunday morning with us! ☀️ (including Alma! 🐶)
Stay tuned for more events like this - where we make every step matter and turn kilometers into kindness! 🙌

Every community starts with a room where someone finally feels like they belong.

On the 15th of April, we’re teaming up with .be The Bubble - the EU Alumni Traineeship Association - to build that room together.✨

We know that Brussels can sometimes feel like a place you have to perform your way into. But this isn’t that. It’s a low-pressure space to meet people, no elevator pitch required.

Whether you’re a seasoned EU insider or just finding your footing, you’re welcome here.

We’re back with our first event of the new year!

..Generation: Glow & Grow!

However, this apero evening has a slight upgrade...🌱

We’re designating different tables to the four seasons of the year - each with personal and professional growth in mind.

With conversation cards on each table, you won’t have to be worried about being lost for words...

📍We are meeting at Flamingo, Rue de Laeken 177, 1000 Bruxelles.

🍸 We will be there from 19:00 to 21:00.

Our focus is to create a relaxed, women focused and low-pressure environment where you can meet new people, have meaningful conversations and connect.

🎟️ Registration form: link in our bio!

Please note: capacity is capped at 40 - so if you registered and can’t come anymore, please let us know.

From 11 to 17 January, our Brussels Shapers took part in the first international capacity‑building training for youth workers in Marrakesh, Morocco! 🇲🇦

This inspiring week was part of the project, an Erasmus+ initiative empowering active citizenship across Europe and the MENA region through the Social Hackathon approach.

Throughout the training, we:
💡 Explored the Social Hackathon methodology
🗣️ Reflected on youth engagement and active citizenship
🤝 Exchanged ideas on social innovation and community participation
🌍 Connected with passionate youth workers from across both regions

A huge thank you to & , and all partner organisations for their collaboration, energy, and for making this week truly unforgettable 🙌💙

As the new year begins, let’s take a moment to look back at all that Brussels Shapers achieved last year 🌟

Thank you to everyone who showed up, put in the work, and helped move things forward. We’re proud of what we accomplished and motivated to build on it in the year ahead 🎉

On Saturday 13, Brussels Shapers came together for our End of Year Party 2025 🎉✨

We kicked things off with a Global Village Dinner, where each Shaper brought a dish from their home country 🌍🍽️

Then came our sustainable Dirty Santa: full of laughs, playful steals, and eco-friendly surprises 🎁♻️

The perfect way to wrap up the year, celebrating our diversity and everything we achieved together in 2025 🌍🤝✨🎉
