✨ Meet the shortlisted artists of the 2026 ENSEMBLE Food Design Residency ✨

We are delighted to announce the artists selected to take part in this year’s online summer residency.

Over the coming weeks, participants from around the world will work alongside mentors and fellow creatives to develop their ideas into:

🍽️ A dish
🎥 A short film
🤲 An eating action

Together, they’ll explore how food can become a medium for storytelling, culture, sustainability, identity, and social change.

The residency culminates in the submission of each project’s final work, after which a selection of projects will be invited to premiere at EDIBLE: Food + Design Confluence in Belgium this October.

Congratulations to all of the shortlisted artists—we can’t wait to see your ideas evolve.

EDIBLE is coming to Antwerp from 14–16 October 2026 — and we’re inviting you to be part of making the city’s first Food Design Festival a reality.

This isn’t a food festival. It’s a gathering of artists, designers, researchers, food innovators and curious minds exploring the future of food through exhibitions, workshops, talks, tastings and performances.

⏳ Our crowdfunding campaign closes on *15 July 2026*.

Here’s the reality:

Your support directly funds exhibition installations, educational materials, technical equipment and public programming that will bring EDIBLE to life.

For €15, you join us for a day at the festival.

For €70, you walk 15 kilometres through food history with Jeroen Van Vaerenbergh and enjoy tasting stops along the way.

For €100, you gain access to the full conference programme.

For €250, you can showcase your innovative food product to our audience.

For €1,000, you secure your own booth and become part of the conversation shaping the future of food.

Every contribution helps turn an ambitious idea into a public platform for creativity, dialogue and cultural exchange.

– desk-based creative work
– small-scale food production & prep
– hosting dinners, workshops & meetings

We’re looking for people who are not just talented, but also curious, collaborative and community-minded.

Rates vary depending on use (part-time / full-time).
