Acces
Acces is a research agency that aims to level the playing.
In April 1994, the parents of two-year-old Samuel Ishimwe were murdered in Rwanda. Thirty years later, in the documentary “Reclaiming History,” Samuel searches for the German and Belgian colonial roots of the genocide against the Tutsi.
After the screening, moderator Latifah Abdou will delve deeper into these colonial racial ideologies, their history, and their lasting impact in Central Africa, in a conversation with Justine Mudahogora of Ibuka vzw, historian Dantes Singiza (Ghent University), and Juliette Bour (University of Antwerp).

Meet Joran Tuerlinckx , fashion designer and founder of the upcycled fashion brand , and panelist at our upcoming Acces Dialogue: Circular Stories.
Since 2020, Joran has developed a practice in which second-hand clothing functions as a carrier of raw, unpolished stories about identity, consumption, and a sustainable future. His work explores how garments can hold meaning beyond trends, materials, or market value.
In 2025, he opened a pop-up store at Outkast Creative Market, creating a tangible space within a broader creative ecosystem and offering other young creatives visibility and opportunity through his work.
