Brussels Babel Greetings to all in Brussels! It's great fun, an active way to practice and a fantastic opportunity to enlarge your perspective on the world!

This group is for people who want to help each other in learning and practicing languages through conversation groups and tandem exchange. The basic principle of the Brussels Babel is for people to help each other with language skills much in the same way that couch surfers help each other with lodging; with a spirit of shared generosity. We envision a world where everyone can explore and create meaningful connections with the people and places he/she encounters. Building meaningful connections across cultures enables us to respond to diversity with curiosity, appreciation and respect. The appreciation of diversity spreads tolerance and creates a global community. We organize Language Exchanges in a friendly and informal environment; for more formal classes you can go the CVO in Brussels or Huis van het Nederlands! For more information about our regularly organized events, go to the event page. Interested in becoming a language ambassador? Let us know by sending Willemjan Vandenplas a pm! NOTE: This is not a place to find accommodation or to sell things! There exist other Facebook and/or web pages for that. Responsible: Willemjan Vandenplas (willemjan(.)vandenplas(@)gmail(.)com
