বিশ্বের দিকে তাকালে দেখা যায়, উন্নত দেশগুলো প্রাথমিক স্তর থেকেই শিশুদের কোডিং শেখাচ্ছে। এস্তোনিয়া প্রথম শ্রেণি থেকেই প্রোগ্রামিং শিক্ষা চালু করেছে। চীন শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য রোবোটিক্স ও এআই ভিত্তিক কারিকুলাম তৈরি করেছে। ভারত সরকার কোটি কোটি শিক্ষার্থীকে কোডিং শেখানোর জাতীয় পরিকল্পনা নিয়েছে। অথচ বাংলাদেশে স্কুল-কলেজের পাঠ্যপুস্তকে এখনো প্রোগ্রামিংকে একটি মৌলিক দক্ষতা হিসেবে অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা হয়নি। ফলে তরুণরা আগ্রহী হলেও সঠিক পথ খুঁজে পেতে হিমশিম খাচ্ছে।
