To expand student's critical thinking, problem-solving capacities and experience of personal growth through a friendly competitive environment, Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized “INTRA IUB TECH FEST- Summer’19” on August 2, 2019.
The aim of this tech fest is to create a platform for students to get exposure to the technical field and get a chance to enhance their knowledge gained from the courses and to showcase their ability to apply it in the real world. This event was supported by Fab Lab IUB, IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter IUB and IUB ACM Student Chapter. Tech fest comprised a total of six segments - Line following Robot(LFR), Hackathon, Soccer Bot, Remote Controlled Bot Race, Programming Contest and Project Showcase. The total prize pool of the segments was BDT 2,00,000.
The prize-giving ceremony was graced with the presence of Dr. Mahady Hasan, Head of Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Congratulatory speech for the winners and runners up of all six segments were delivered along with certificates and prizes.
